My Silverado truck was making a noise like something was loose in a fan. After they looked at it, they said it was the starter, which I was shocked because of the truck had no problem starting I did have it replaced thousand dollars later. When I picked it up, on my way to work, the check engine light came on and service oil light came on After being at the dealer two days, they couldn’t even check to see that the oil needed to be changed or any other maintenance. That is very easy to check. Also I received a text from Elizabeth wanting me to do a survey, but if it wasn’t a 10 she wanted me to text her back which I did and I got no response back now I got a email wanting to know how my service was.

I'd scheduled an appointment for 15,000 mile servicing on my 2023 Bolt. Moments after entering my Bolt into the service entry line, a service rep approached and checked in my car. The service rep advised me I could wait in the reception lounge. The lounge was clean, bright and airy, with complimentary coffee. I got a message on my cell informing me of who to contact if I had any follow up questions while my Bolt was being serviced. About 45 minutes later my car was ready, so I paid at the cashier's counter and off I went. Fast, pleasant service.

I would like to thank my salesperson, Elijah. I first met with Elijah around March of 2024 to test drive the Blazer EV - it didn't end up working out last year, but that was not the fault of Elijah! We fell out of touch for awhile, but I remembered my experience with him (I should also mentioned my wife appreciated how Elijah treated us). My car search resumed earlier this year, and I made a point to reach out - Elijah remembered who I was, and it was very much like reconnecting with a friend! Even though I was in no way ready to complete the deal, Elijah made the process incredibly palatable and went above and beyond to find the car I wanted. Horrible experience for an oil change service even with appointment it took over 2 hours wait then when truck was done, the rep went to lunch and I had to wait for paperwork to pay, once paid they parked another vehicle in front of me and I asked to please move and it and was told by rep Jose Guzman just back up and find a way out. Just rude. I need to stop taking my truck for service there this is the second time I had such horrible experience.

Well most Staff seemed friendly, that didn't appear to be the case for all. As I was advised from my Advisor that I would be notified once my vehicle was ready, however I never received a notification nor was I ever called up as I was within the waiting area the entire time. After two and half hours gone by, I proceeded to inquire for an update from my Advisor who suggested my Vehicle had been ready for 'no more then 9 minutes' however upon signing the release forms at the Cashier's desk, she advised that my vehicle had been ready to go a lot longer. In addition, I had previously requested to my Advisor if my Vehicle may receive a courteous rinse/wash (a courtesy that I did not receive the last time I brought my vehicle in for Service at Community Chevy nor was I offered then either). However, upon inspecting my vehicle after service, I noticed some spots had not been properly rinse as very visible dirt/residue remained within the edges and windshield itself. Noticing this prompted me to call the gentlemen who drove my car up to politely pinpoint the dirty spots that remained and request for the possibility for another rinse- (be advised that this same Staff member simply drove up and walked away quickly without expressing anything to me and prior to noticing the poorly rinse areas of my Vehicle, I attempted to ask for the whereabout of my keys but before finishing my sentence he shouted "In the car!"). Stating that and asking him over to pinpoint the dirty spots of my Vehicle, both myself and friend- (who was with me at the time), observed his negative facial expression as I was showing him the dirty spots as he simply replied "So?". With this, I simply decided to let it go by implying nevermind and that it was okay before thanking him. His response was "Then why, just don't call me" as he abruptly walked away with a visibly upset/bothered facial expression, shaking his head. Certainly, as loyal customer, this experience was appalling to say the least and very much disappointing as I had driven from where I reside from Riverside, CA to Burbank, CA as not only did I initially purchase my Vehicle from Community Chevrolet however have received service from them since as I once admired their friendliness. However, this experience/interaction with the last gentlemen has unfortunately motivated me to seek business/service elsewhere with other dealerships as neither can I in good conscience refer Community Chevrolet to my friends/family given the poor customer service that I experienced as described above.

Took my car in for 7500 mile checkup. It took 2 hours. Waiting room has no water just a coffee machine. Other dealerships we have gone to have had at least bottle water and snacks. If you are waiting for car for 2 hours, I would think Community could treat customers better than this.

I was held "hostage" for FOUR HOURS, then rushed through the paperwork signing. I never had the Dealer Add-ons described to me other than "these are charges that everyone pays." These charges were avoidable, as the car was not yet at the dealership--it was "in transit." I ended up paying $3000 "tuition" for not having gone in prepared to be scammed. Further, the General Manager came in and bullied me when I was there to alter the contract because of the COSTCO credit being renewed--I wanted to also remove those charges for useless add-ons. He claimed that I had no right to change a signed contract (even though I was there for that very purpose). The car wasn't even on the lot yet--still "in transit." Yeah, I got a good deal because I brought in a lot of funding through Replace-Your-Ride--but they still stole $3000. Moreover, they "arranged" a very unfavorable(to me) financing (10+%)--I have a credit rating of 810. For me, it's moot, as I intend to pay it off almost immediately. However, it is clear that they are again lining their pockets at my expense. All in all, nice people, except the general manager, stealing as much of your money as they can. Vox Clamantis in Deserto--I don't expect anyone to see this review.

My truck is not just my transportation it is also a tool to take care of my business. If you told me that my truck will be in service for three hours and I came at 7:30 as my appointment was set for, I expected my truck to be ready no later then 11 a.m.. But it didn't go that way. I called four hours and it was not ready. In fact I received a called six and a half hours later. Who will be paying me for the appointments I missed? Who will compensate $2000.0 lost? Will you? Well I am unhappy about the length of time you kept my truck without offering a loaner vehicle nor an apologize for all the inconvenience I went through due to your delay on my truck service.

Luis in the service department was very friendly. Other than that this is the second time I’ve taken my truck to the dealership and my service was mediocre. They get the job done but leave a mess in the car. Left bunch of oily substance sprayed around each air vent after servicing the cabin filter and didn’t properly reinstall the glove compartment forcing me to come back the next day for them to fix their mistake. Prices are great but reconsidering coming back for more services for my vehicle

I made an appointment two weeks in advance to fix a leaking rear window in my 2023 Silverado. I’m arrived at 8:30am. Luis was very helpful but informed me that the person who would fix it had a busy schedule. It was an outside Contractor. I was very frustrated because I had made it two weeks in advance, and explain the exact issue. at that point that individual should’ve been scheduled ahead of time. Luis came up with a solution to get me back home to pick up my kids. However, since I made the appointment early, told you the exact issue that individual should’ve been scheduled well in advance. It basically wasted the entire day. My time is worth a lot and frankly you failed to respect that. I tried very hard to respect your schedule by scheduling in advance. You should do the same.

My experience at Community Chevrolet of Burbank began on a very positive note. I worked with sales representative Arabo, who was exceptionally pleasant, courteous, and professional throughout the entire process. He promptly arranged a test drive for the truck I was interested in and took the time to answer every question thoroughly. Arabo presented several options and made an excellent first impression both for himself and the dealership. After discussing with my family, I quickly decided that the truck Arabo showed us was exactly what I wanted to purchase. Although the price was firm with no room for negotiation, I was determined to own the vehicle that truly met my expectations. From application to financing, document signing, and delivery, everything went smoothly and efficiently. However, a few days after the purchase, I noticed several scratches on the hood of the truck. I contacted Arabo, who advised me to bring the vehicle in so he could have it inspected. Upon doing so, he had the service team buff out one of the scratches, though the remaining three were too deep to repair through standard polishing. The team attempted to apply paint filler, but I’m still unsure whether it improved or worsened the appearance. When I asked about further options, Arabo consulted his manager and returned with the response that the vehicle was sold “as is” and no additional assistance could be provided. While I understand that the service department is not a full auto body shop and has limitations on what repairs can be performed, I was quite surprised that no goodwill gesture such as partial coverage or a repair contribution was offered. For a customer who spent over $80,000 on a new vehicle, I expected a higher level of post sale care and attention to maintain a positive ownership experience. I am now considering escalating this matter to GM Headquarters for further review, as I still find it concerning that such an expensive vehicle could be sold without a disclosure regarding existing scratches. Had I been made aware of these imperfections beforehand, I likely would have explored other options. I’m not certain whether this review will be acknowledged, but I sincerely hope it reaches someone who values customer satisfaction and is willing to help bring this matter to a fair resolution.

I brought my Chevy Tahoe to Community Chevrolet in Burbank on September 8th for a transmission service, oil change, and other maintenance. En The service agent was Luis Ángel Serrato. I had to keep calling him to keep reminding to work on my car. They kept my car for almost a month! When I finally got it back, I thought everything was fine — until a few weeks later when oil started leaking. I took it back, and they told me it was a “separate issue” with the oil pan gasket and wanted to run the repair through my drivetrain warranty. The same service man Luis Angel Serrato was making this claims. I asked to speak to his Manager and he sided with his guy without really digging much into the issue. That didn’t sit right with me, so I told them to stop and took the car to a local shop for a second opinion. The local mechanic found the real issue was a loose oil pan plug, not the gasket. Even worse, they showed me that the transmission oil pan — which the dealer supposedly replaced — was banged up and clearly not new. This shows Community Chevrolet either didn’t do the work they claimed or cut corners. Either way, it’s dishonest. This dealer should be ashamed of their shady business practices. I’ll be reporting them to the Better Business Bureau and warning others to stay far away.

I recently had a fantastic experience at the dealership! The staff was incredibly helpful in diagnosing my vehicle's issue, especially Victor he went above and beyond to locate my warranty, which made the process much smoother. They promptly replaced my battery, and I really appreciated how efficiently everything was handled. While I do feel that the diagnostic service fee is a bit on the pricey side. First and foremost, I would like to thank Jonah from Online Sales for communicating with me via text regarding the new Surburbans available at Community Chevrolet. It was because of him that made me feel comfortable enough to bring my wife to the dealership to see and purchase a 2025 Suburban Premier. In this day and age where a majority of business is done on a handheld device, Jonah's professionalism, respect and care for the customer was on display in his messages to me. Second, I would like to thank Oscar Linares, Lease Manager who closed the deal for Jonah. It was already mid afternoon on Saturday when we left our home in Palmdale to get to Community Chevrolet in Burbank. When we made it there we realized that I had forgot to bring our checkbook and the pink slip for the truck we wanted to use as a trade-in. After explaining to Oscar that in my haste to make it to their dealership before it closed for the day that I left those items at home, but he continued to work with us to close the deal. Me and my wife really appreciated that Oscar and Community Chevrolet did not prejudge us because of my forgetfullness, but instead worked with us based on our exceptional credit and character. In the past, I have considered the process of purchasing a vehicle one of my least favorite things to do, especially getting the out the door cost and financing. Because of Community Chevrolet employees like Jonah and Oscar, I would feel comfortable doing business with both of these gentlemen on the future puchase of a Chevrolet/GM vehicle and recommending friends and family of the same. Unfortunately I have to give a poor rating for the following 2 reasons: The profile that was set up has my wrong phone number it should be 818-565-5615 Secondly the reason for my service visit was the documented issue with the Blazer microphone. It is either defective or installed upside done causing the holes in the holder not to line up with the microphone therefore not allowing for a clean clear audio pick up. This is a sorry issue as On Star can not hear clearly nor can the SOS. We had told Victor that we did a system reset per On Star instructions The community Chevrolet stated via Victor it just needed new software and did not fix the issue even though Victor stated the technician re tested the system

I MADE APPOINTMENT WITH CARLOS IN THE SERVICE DEPT. WHEN I GOT THERE HE DID AN OVERALL VISUAL CHECK ON THE TRUCK AND BROUGHT TO MY ATTENTION THAT THERE WAS A NAIL IN ONE TIRE AND A SMALL PIECE OF RUBBER MISSING ON ANOTHER AND STATED I WOULD NEED TO PURCHASE A NEW TIRE IN ORDER TO GET THE SERVICE DONE. I THOUGHT ABOUT THAT FOR A MINUTE AS I WAS ABOUT TO PULL OUT, SO I WENT BACK INSIDE AND REQUESTED THAT THEY JUST CHANGE THE OIL AND FILTER AND NOT MESS WITH THE TIRES. CARLOS REFUSED AND SAID "THEY HAVE TO DO EVERYTHING AT ONCE". I LET HIM KNOW I'D BE BACK IN THE MORNING, HOWEVER, I LEFT FELLING THAT HE WAS TAKING ADVANTAGE OF THE CITUATION, SO I CALLED BACK ABOUT AN HOU LATER AND ASKED TO SPEAK TO A SERVICE MANAGER. I WAS PUT ON THE PHONE WITH ELIZABETH. SHE EXPLAINED THE LIABILITY THE DEALERSHIP WOULD HAVE IF SOMETHING WAS TO HAPPEN IF THE TIRE WAS NOT REPLACED, KINDA (CYA) MADE SENSE SO I CAME BACK THE FOLLOWING MORNING AFTER RECIEVING A CALL FROM MARICIO CALOS' BOSS EXPECTING TO PURCHASE A NEW TIRE WHILE HAVING THE TIRE WITH THE NAIL PATCHED, WHICH. ACCORDING TO ELIZABETH WOULD COST $25.00 WHEN I RETURNED I ALSO HAD A COUPON FOR $40.00 OFF MY NEXT PURCHASE AR COMMUNITY CHEVROLET WHICH, I PRESENTED TO CARLOS AS HE WAS PUNCHING IN MY SERVICE ORDER INTO HIS COMPUTER. HE SAID IT WOULD TAKE ABOUT 2 HOURS SO, I HAD A SEAT AND WAITED. TWO HOURS LATER I RECIEVED A TEXT FROM CARLOS INFORMING ME THAT "YOUR CAR IS READY FOR PICKUP!" WITH THE PICTURE OF THE INSIDE OF A TIRE. I BEGAN WALKING TOWARD THE SERVICE DESK WHERE CARLOS HAD TYPED IN MY SERICE ORDER AND WAS MET BY CARLOS WITH A PIECE OF PAPER STATING "THIS IS YOUR COPY OF THE RECEIPT AND SAID "THEY FOUND ANOTHER NAIL IN THE TIRE THAT THEY WENT AHEAD A FIXED "FOR FREE. THEN HE SAID THAT THE $40.00 COUPON WAS OBSORBED INTO THE COST OF THE SECOND REPAIR. IF IT WAS REPAIRED FOR FREE WHY AM I BEING CHARGED $40.00? NOWHERE ON MY RECIEPT IS THERE A $40.00 DEDUCTION. FOR THAT REASON I WILL NEVER RETURN TO COMMUNITY CHEVROLET FOR ANYTHING. I'LL GET THE SERVICE NEEDS FOR MY VEHICLE ELSEWHERE AND ENCOURAGE OTHERS TO DO THE SAME "BUNCH OF VULTURES OVER THERE IS WHAT I THINK YOU ARE.

The only reason I had to back to this visit was because I purchased my vehicle from here & my door guards were never installed. At the same time I needed a recall taken care of, but I also tried adding an inspection for a raddle coming from the entertainment center but I was told they were too busy for that & was going to add an additional inspection but since I was told they were too busy, I will just have to go to my nearest dealer instead of driving 26 miles there & sitting in traffic for 1 hour & 20 plus minutes. Unbelievable.
